Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 389
Crew got the sails up quickly out of Salt Whistle bay and we zoomed off towards Union Island! The wind shifted around from downwind to beam reach and even up wind as we rounded Mayreau, but overall we had perfect beam reach and broad reach sailing to Chatham Bay. We took the sails down whilst entering the bay and anchored calmly in 10ft of turquoise water and sandy bottom (first anchoring this trip!) Philip from sunset cove came and insisted we anchored closer to shore, for the good snorkelling π€Ώ and less intense gusts π¨. The katabatibc gusts are pretty wild here every 3-5 minutes! Snubber deployed using our new technique for the first time since getting tips in Greece. Looking forward to a quiet night π

Our 2 hour sail to Union flew past - it was a fun trip. Anchored in Chatham Bay - Chris & Becca making it look very easy π Itβs a gorgeous bay and only a handful of boats. A few local boats came by to offer us fish & banana bread but we opted to go ashore for Mahi Mahi BBQ. Sat watching the sunset with a pina colada - heaven π πΉ then back to the boat for a nightcap. A calm night with the gusts keeping us cool. We all agreed this was our favourite spot so far π€©
