Ashton to Clifton, St Vincent and Grenadines

Makin Memories
Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 389
I normally cycle from Ashton to Clifton back in Bristol, but tonight we had a glorious evening sun sail. Anchored instead of mooring buoy, with further improved snubber. Exposed to wind, but protected by a reef. Got our eyes on next door which is a bar on the middle of the reef surrounded by ocean..! š Oh as Iām writing I just saw a plane land, the airstrip is our other neighbour š¤¦āāļø The sail here lasted the exact amount of time as the chemical brothers album of the same name šŖ©

We set sail from Frigate Island for Clifton after lunch. The reef made the entrance look tricky and was misleading as it looked very shallow. We thought it might be a bit rolly like Tobago Cays but the reef offered plenty of protection. We had a sunset drink on Happy Island and then dinghied ashore for dinner, passing the mast of a sunken yacht sticking out of the sea - so maybe the reef was too tricky for some people!
