After a quiet night in Portaferry Marina and exploring the neighbouring sights and walks we left with the last bit of incoming tide through the narrows for a smooth exit into the Irish sea. The drizzle soon cleared away and we had a wonderful crossing back to Peel. Although there was no wind at the beginning we were able to sail the last third of the passage. ⛵️ While waiting in Peel Bay for the flap gate into the marina, “Oi Voaldyn” the Manx Festival of Fire was happening on the beach. It was quite a show to see and hear from the seaside 🥰 A visit from Moonlight and Starlight the local Dolphins 🐬 while we waited for the fireworks 🎇 was the best finish for this fabulous weekend away! ❤️
