After waiting for a positive reply on my Advanced Notification of Arrival, I was ready to leave French Polynesia and sail the 600NM to a very remote part of the Cook Islands: Penrhyn. It was a kind of a slow start, winds around 10kn from 140°. But with every day sailing north, the trade winds got more stable. 15-25kn, almost from behind, wing on wing most of the time. Nice sail. Penrhyn is paradise. Very few yachts visiting, incredible friendly locals and everything you would expect from an South Pacific Atoll 🥰
