Approx 11nm. Expected time 15:45 NOTE: If winds are lighter than forecast, the race may be shortened. Stay tuned to VHF 77. ALL CHANNEL MARKS MUST BE LEFT ON THE CORRECT SIDE. HIGH TIDE at 12:21, 1.72m. ⸻ Race Start: Each yacht has been allocated a start time (Table below). The electronic scoreboard will count up (in minutes) from 13:00 (1PM). The first yacht is scheduled to start at 13:05. When the scoreboard shows a yacht’s start time in minutes, that yacht can start. The time limit for a Transit race is 3 hours after her starting signal for the first finishing boat (following yachts have 45 mins after this time to finish). Each boat is REQUIRED (Sailing Instructions 11.2) to record their own finish time (ACTUAL TIME in minutes & seconds, NOT ELAPSED TIME) using a smartphone AND to activate raceQs and save and upload their track. If there is no track and a finish time is not submitted, a yacht may be recorded DNF, or a time will be estimated for that boat – this may affect that boat’s handicap for future races.
