
Born into sailing, strayed away only to return.

Mostly motor sailed up the Gulf Stream. Hot and low wind, no breaking waves, calm rollers. Wind picked up in the right direction and were able to sail until sunrise. Along the trip ran into fishermen, traded sodas for lobster. At night encountered pods of dolphins chasing flying fish. Had two birds along for the ride in the first day.

Andrews Bluff to Guineaman Cay, Bahamas
Sunny, blue skies, easy passage of the whale. Ran aground on soft sand at low tide wind from behind. Kept main sail up which pushed the stern around, takes across the wind and were able to sail off the sand bar about 40 min after running aground.
