Anchored off Fortaleza for a swim

Our 2026 Eclipse trip, aiming to reach Cap de Formentor. Wind gusting 15kts NE - not ideal! After several tacks and some motor assistance, we called it a day. On return, we saw most of the eclipse over the Formentor peninsula. At approx 2200, both motor and wind gave out. Made Pan Pan call and received tow from lovely family (berth 69 at the marina) who took us as far as the entrance and handed over to marineros who towed us to the berth. Used red hand flare so rescue boat could find us Hand held VHF radio was invaluable
