I started in boats with a power boat for water skiing and had that for a few years then started sailing hobycats on holidays. I took an RYA introductory course but then life got in the way and didn’t sail again for about 30 years when I signed up for the Clipper race. I completed the first 3 legs from Portsmouth to Fremantle via Spain, Uruguay and Cape Town SA. Since the I took my Day skipper and have skippered a charter yacht in the Cyclades. I hope to continue skippering and crewing.
