Hectic sail, direct downwind 30kts! ended up dropping all sails except main double reefer. 8.5kts.

Very calm conditions. We stopped along the way multiple times to fish. We had no luck, only small snapper.

Up wind sail in 15kts. 30 deg apparent wind angle and we were sitting around 6.5kts SOG. calm seas with 1 meter wind chop from the nw and predominant rarely swell of about 1.5 meter with large interval. Great sail.

had a little bit of everything in this trip. 1kt on the middle of Coval Channel, to 25kts a little further down the coast. top speed was 10.3kts on a reach.

2m swell, 18kts on a reach up the coast of gt barrier island

Slow trip to pick up crew from Tryphena. lots of fishing and drifting on the way.

motor sailed the whole way with all sails up. very easy trip. Our Anchor windlass is playing up so we needed to come in for repairs.

Started off with a 7kt head wind, we were pinching into wind on a starboard tack with the motor running. later on the morning the wind picked up as did the sea state. We were experiencing 2 meter chop and 25kts on the nose. had a discussion with our buddy boat and decided to try anchor at bottom bay on slipper island. we got there first and tried setting our anchor but it wouldn't catch so we lifted out back up. as we were, the windlass started playing up and then wouldn't lift the anchor so I had to lift the last 6 meters by hand! decided to carry on to Matapaua Bay on the north end of Whitianga Harbour. Will chase windlass oasis in the morning. Cigar and whisky time.
