A beautiful sunny day, but like winds, we started off fairly well, but had some troubles on the down wind we ended up second place. The wildlife was wonderful lots of whale and seal in the sea birds were chattering quite vociferously

For the first time I got to sail Un Bel Di. It was a delightful race with Jen and Mark. A much smaller boat so easier to handle which was very nice. The day was generally overcast and icky and we made slow progress at one point with low winds. But we did finish albeit next to last which surprised us all. No Wildlife scene which was a bit of a disappointment.

Beautiful day on the water, very calm, good winds and lots of sunshine. We had a very short race. It only lasted about an hour and a half, mainly due to the fact that our buoys have been removed. But we had fun anyway finding our virtual boobies doing two spins around and then coming back. Unfortunately, we came in dead last, but we had loads of fun.

This was Canyon number three race where we now have to go around virtual Bouys, which was a bit of a challenge. The weather held out very nicely and the wind was quite nice although we had a couple of light episodes that quickly resolved. It was a great sale and all things went very smooth and of course the Bay was as gorgeous as usual. It’s a joy working with Bobby and Lara as crew.

Started as a very windy and heavily misted day but shortly after the start of the race it cleared up with good brisk winds heading us towards the point pinos Buoy. Once we had rounded the buoy, however, the air died and we were becalmed. in total we ended up spending almost 6 1/2 hours doing the trip. Saw a large pod of dolphin, probably Rhys dolphin around point Pinos and also lots of sea life like pelicans diving. there were some brief episodes of rain, which were nice because the wind picked up

Brisk breeze is helping us get to about 8.5 kn at sometimes. Lots of heeling and brisk breezes but clear skies and absolutely gorgeous. It was a fun run. We did make a quick stop at the station to clear out the sewage line on Jim’s boat

A lovely day on the bay with a great wind, although we had a pocket of calm for a bit there. The big surprise was that both of the boobies ML two and ML three went missing! We had to use virtual views which were problematic. Despite that we won the race by 2 1/2 seconds.

Easy day no racing out on the bay. The wind was pretty low though so we all came in early.

A warm, beautiful day, but with some pretty big swells in the bay. Had a little trouble getting out due to very low tide. Did a lot of practicing with the jib lines and the main learned to stop and even back up, but we’re thwarted by the current. A lovely day, lots of otter in the bay.

Our fourth practice with tacking and jibing motion is getting much smoother in the cockpit but lots more to learn. Conditions were perfect. No wildlife siding unfortunately. That’s probably just as well so we don’t get distracted.
