Thank you Gary O’Grady for organizing this. Kairos got over the line just before Flycatcher but overall we were last. We'll done Richard Truscott and crew on Unity for getting the cup. The first time since 2018 this race has been held.

Wallington to Birdham, United Kingdom
Motoring all the way with hardly any wind. Had the Genoa up for some of the time but more decorative than helpful. When we passed Cowes the rain came down with a vengeance, accompanied by thunder and lightning. Still, a good weekend was had. Another successful WOA rally.

Only a short hop but sunshine, 16knots of NW, and a lovely close reach all the way into Portsmouth. Good reminder of how enjoyable sailing can be.

No wind to speak of but beautiful sunshine. Motorsailing most of this very short hop. Warsash Sailing Club Rally. Very busy Duver Marina, rafting 4 deep.

Virtually no wind until we got into Portsmouth Harbour and didn't need it anymore.

Whippingham to Wallington, United Kingdom
Early start at 6am as we had to catch the last of the tide going East through the Hurst Narrows. Nice NW to start with but after an hour the engine came back on.

Studland to Yarmouth, United Kingdom
Pleasant passage with some sailing and some motor sailing. Picked up eco buoy in Studland Bay. Beautifully quiet and peaceful here now that the dreaded jet ski people have gone home. Lovely sunset.
