Light winds, conditions fair, AMG battery failed leaving us without an engine. Used a dinghy to anchor into cove. Great spot and excellent protection

it was an adventure. Battery went bad. lost ability to start engine. anchored in unfamiliar anchorage.

Went from San Carlos to the Baja peninsula. Most of the sail was in 20knots of wind on the beam. Lintika stayed at a good 7.5 knots for a lot of it with 2 reefs in the main and some wraps on the head sail. Slowed down as we approached the channel into the Anchorage, dropping to just the head sail and no rainforest about an hour. Afterwards we idled the engine through the channel in the dark for about an hour and a half as the sun came up. Once we had full sunlight we moored into the anchor and dropped hook. Fun sail into a beautifully glassy anchorage.
