Started sailing in 2017 on SV Gust of Wind with my first trip from Ribedero in Spain, to ** on the Atlantic coast. Rejoined the boat in the Canary Islands December 2017 St Lucia to Grenada (Caribbean) Bonaire & Curacao 2018 marquesas, Tuamotas & Tahiti. May 2019 Tahiti & Society Islands June 2019 nuii to Tonga, Samoa, Wallace & fortuna to Fiji Feb 2020 New Zealand north island, bay of islands 2023 New Zealand bay of islands, 2025 Sydney north to Coffs Harbour. Motored 2/3 with no wind. Came up to 14kn, but on the nose. Tacked, and tacked and eventually motored the last couple of miles. Anchored deep at 13m. Wind at 18kn Cool kitesurfing spot. 10 or more boats here.

Started late after a taxi trip Motored most of the way. Tried to sail in light wind for half an hour Motored, then wind picked up to 24 km on the nose. Anchored in pretty sheltered bay

Brian Kirk - We stopped for brunch en route Trizonia to the Alkionides , I vaguely remember it being quite shallow , a bit iffy getting anchor to set but not a problem for a daytime stop

No wind. Motored all the way. Had an hour and a half wait to go through canal. Third time, but a fantastic experience, albeit expensive….575 €

Once again wind NW, on the nose. Spent time beating, tacking, then changed plan and headed west to remote Island. Wind swung to NNE in our favour and had a good run at 12kn wind speed. Dropped 2 miles out and motored the last bit. Anchored against huge cliffs. Wind turbines on top Very cool

Melting. Left in 25 kn. Broad reach down to S of Naxos. Staysail only. Raised second reef, and half furled staysail. Reach for S PAXOs. Got over 10kn SOG Anchored in Bay with gusts over 30kn Justin and Justine gone in Taxi for kite surfing
