Early start at 05:00 leaving from White House Bay.. After leaving the coast of Nevis we continued on that same tack until we reached Redonda, there we tacked.. The wind abated and the waves stopped proper progress, decision was made to start the engine and motorsport to Jolly harbour to make the deadline for customs and immigration..

After a rolling night the desission was made by the skipper to sail to White House bay in the afternoon to reduce some of the miles for Wednesday and to find a less rolly anchorage.. We set of at 16:00 after clearing out of the Dutch islands.. The wind was a good force 4, but after crossing the gap between Sint Eustatius and Saint Kitts the wind stalled and we had to continue under engine.. At anchor we had a nice Dansak for dinner

After checking out in Saba we sailed to Statia, the wind was ENE 3 Beaufort so we made it just under sail on a close haul.. At arrival it was time for check in and explore…

Finally the wind died out a little after weeks and weeks of hard winds.. We were able to sail with full main, staysail and Yankee 2. After scouting the harbour and the sea state in front of it, we returned to Wells bay were we picked up the large yellow mooring buoy.. The skipper went back to the harbour to check into the country and reported to the harbour master.. The coast is stunning with steep high cliffs and intriguing steps going up the hill to the town called the bottom..

Force 5 ESE, 1,5 mtr waves

First day on Mystery Island trip, safety briefs and sail training + MOB exercise. Ended up of Hermitage Beach in 5 island Bay. Tomorrow long trip to Saint Barthélemy.
