Downwind start. Port boat didn't yield at first downwi mark, our stbd quarter bumped their hull, had to retire.

Current relatively strong going out. Practiced two downwind legs, focus on jibing practice with spin & pole. Katie primarily trimmed, Laura primarily did pit, Diana primarily did bow, Chloe helmed. There was a bit of switching around, with focus on practicing spin trimming. Also practiced starts. Got to the line right on time, but with the strong current pushing into the line while no other boats to practice against, not necessarily the most realistic practice because there was no one pushing us up.

Downwi start, decided to avoid the cluster/ start from behind & with wind. Worked well, got inside rounding at downwind mark. Came in fifth. Potential improvement to not tack too soon if there are current concerns.

Strong wind, main sheet caught caught and we couldn't turn down and collided with another boat - lesson for the future is to uncleat the main when tacking in crowded conditions/ strong wind. Also bumped my head on the boom when jibing, lesson learned to safety jibe a bit more in strong wind.

Finished 8th. Shifty wind from West, not too strong. Current coming in getting stronger. Downwind start, 3 laps. Sailed N of Willy S of Arabella on upwind marks, approached mark from S due to current, mostly on stbd tack. Bow - Jane Mast - Laura Pit - Roxane Trim - Rae Helm - Chloe
