Started sailing on Argo, a Starwind 23 on Smithville Lake in Missouri. Graduated to Argo II, an O'Day 32 I sailed for 10 years all over Long Island Sound--Block Island, MV, Newport, and then on Lake Erie from Cleveland and Sandusky, OH. We now sail Argo 3, a 1996 Catalina C400 purchased in Toronto, ON, on Chesapeake Bay. I've done over a dozen bareboat charters all over the Caribbean, Bahamas, and Florida Keys on boats ranging from a 36' monohull to 50'+ catamarans.

Star date 08082025. Fantastic weather. Great Goldilocks temperatures. Never too hot nor cold. Slightly overcast skies with 16 to 19 knot winds. Water a tad choppy due to the system off the coast that was moving away from us. Made for some very fun sailing. Proud to be a crew member of the intrepid Argo 3!

Wind was non-existent so we motored. Midway back we were stopped and boarded by the Coast Guard for a safety check! We passed with no issues.
