Lazy sail under genoa alone

Motor sailed to make a lunch reservation after a slow start in the rain

Gentle sail to Dartmouth after 3 days at anchor in Cawsand. Leaking windows and more concerning, water ingress at the port chain plates need urgent repairs, so slowly hopping back to Solent and hoping this rain gives in a bit. Also, discovered my fridge only gets down to about 15c in the summer, so now also on the jobs list... Did take the chance to re-calibrate my instruments, which with the new wired triducer replacing the wireless tacktick one, seem to be working well.

Challenging passage with gusts over 30kts for 10-15 mins at a time, but averaging F6. Significant swell slowed progress especially wind over tide at Start Point. My four legged first mate obviously objected as she chewed through the radio... Nice sheltered anchorage though!
