Started with failed anemometer and the guys got to work,…. Needs a new one. Great sail with plenty of wind, then a lunch stop and a motor back to Poros

Ermióni to Póros, Greece
Started well, with wind blowing and a 20 mile leg ahead, but the wind dropped and despite best efforts we had to run on engine power, but not before having a leisurely lunch on route, with the sails set up to goose wing, with a makeshift preventer. Got in to port at around 16:30, when the wind then blew for most of the night 🙄

Very busy exit due to Cowes week and an interesting wind over tide passage for the first hour, back to home port after topping up with fuel, great finish to solid weekend, weather brightening as the afternoon passed

Hamble-le-Rice to Lymington, United Kingdom
25 knot gusts made for an interesting start, crew rotation was 2 hrs on, 3 hrs off on, 4 hrs into the passage the engine fuel feed blocked and shut down the engine,. Decided to turn back and sail, while investigating the blockage, managed to blow air back up the line and cleared the blockage, got back to home port 10 hrs after departure, the goal was St-Vaast … perhaps next time

East Princessa Buoy (historical) to Hamble-le-Rice, United Kingdom
Dry, with sunshine for most of the way, 32 knots of wind on the nose for 5 hrs, so a bit tiresome, boat handled really well in swell, cut our destination short from Hythe to Hamble, with Doug, Colin & Paul.
