So we left the cute little fishing Village and headed further ENE in the hopes of finding a nice little spot for a swim. 
It was a slow sail as the winds here in Indonesia are almost nonexistent, which is a lovely change from our past 3 months of sailing. We have made the decision to just go where the wind takes us and in no hurry. There are so many places to anchor here that we can literally just sail till we feel like stopping. 
As we approached a possible anchorage for the night, we began checking Google Earth images, and other anchorage apps to get some indication of what this place is going to be like. 
We found a shallow spot in about 5 metres of sand at high tide just out from a very cute little beach with palm trees and what appeared to be a house. As I went to put the anchor down I had to release the lock by using the up button only to find it was clicking but not moving. This was the beginning of a whole mess. 
We made the choice to drop the anchor and deal with getting it up at a later date. 
Now the exploring has begun to work out what the issue is. Looks like we may have to move here, hahaha.
