Wind and Waves Today

Predictwind said it was going to up go 26 kt winds, but we went out anyway. It was such gorgeous sunny day. When we arrived on the Inlet it was almost flat calm. Do we motored out to Spanish Banks. The wind picked up by the time we had the sails up. Then the gusts started throwing us around and the sea state changed to 4-5 ft whitecaps. We put two reefs in the main, but finally brought it down and started motoring back. All the way back the whitecaps were building. So, it was a workout!
