To Denmark: first genuine sailing

Departure after 1 night in Skanör: Leaving the port Decided to depart today after checking the weather for the past two days. <Departure> Started with the engine. Went out far and unfurled the sails to check the reefing; it was perfect. Since the sails went up so well, we unfurled the jib as well, and because the wind was good, we just kept going. Speed reached between 5knt and 6knt. <Sailing> The wind was incredibly cold and chilly. While trying to have lunch, a gust blew in; judged it as overpowered and reduced the jib by half. Lunch menu: Stir-fried pork ramyeon. The wind stabilized, so I unfurled the jib again and sailed at 6knt. Overall, it was different from the weather forecast. Mainly sailed back and forth between close hauled and beam reach. Starlink internet did not work in the middle of the ocean. Adding maritime service costs about 180 EUR per month... So we sailed offline, and the internet returned as we got closer to Denmark. <Arrival> Arrived in front of the destination, Møn Cliff, when the wind suddenly vanished, the sun came out, and it became warm. Around 2 PM. Motored for 1 hour to enter the port. However, just as we were nearly inside the harbour, the wind suddenly blew and the current became very strong. While entering the mooring, I even got the stern line on, but the bow tilted heavily due to the current. Safely moored with the help of nearby sailors. *Next time, if the stern line is caught, try holding the line at the back and use the engine's forward power to steer the boat. The skipper thinks going too slowly was the downfall in this case. 4월16일 항해일지 스카놀 1박 후 출항: 항구 떠날 때 이틀 간의 날씨 점검 후 오늘 출항으로 결정. <출항> 엔진으로 출발. 멀리까지 나가서 리프 확인을 위해 세일 펼쳐보니 완벽. 세일 잘 올라간 김에 집세일까지 폈는데 바람이 좋아서 그냥 그대로 감. 5knt에서 6knt까지 나옴. <항해> 바람 엄청 차갑고 추웠음. 점심 먹으려는데 돌풍이 불어서 오버파워라고 판단하고 집세일을 반으로 줄임. 점심 메뉴: 돼지고기 볶음 라면. 바람이 괜찮아져서 다시 집세일을 폈고 6knt로 달림. 전체적으로 일기예보와는 달랐음. 주로 크로스하울과 빔리치 왔다갔다하며 주행함. 바다 한 가운데에서 스타링크 인터넷 안됨. 해양 서비스 추가하려면 월에 약 180유로.. 그래서 오프라인으로 달리다가 덴마크 가까워지니 인터넷 돌아옴. <입항> 목적지인 Mon cliff 앞에 와서 갑자기 바람이 온데간데없이 사라지고 해가 뜨며 따뜻해짐. 오후 2시 경. 모터링으로 1시간 달려서 입항. 근데 하버에 거의 들어와서 갑자기 바람 불더니 조류 엄청 심해짐. 무어링 진입하면서 스턴에 줄까지 걸었는데 조류로 보우 심하게 기울어짐. 주변 세일러들의 도움으로 무사히 정박. *다음에 스턴 줄이 걸려있다면 뒤에 줄을 잡고, 엔진으로 배를 전진하는 힘으로 방향을 잡아보기. 너무 천천히 간게 독이었던 케이스라고 스키퍼는 생각함.
