Lettsome Settlement to Deadman Bay, British Virgin Islands

Matmax (Dream Yacht Charter)
Dufour 390 Grand Large
Wind 10-15 kts. Sea state 4-6 fts. We were heading out early today for long segment. Sailing with head + motor again. We lowered the head sail to navigate through the Thatch Island Cut. Navigating through Thatch Island cut is simple. Everything is visible. But traffic is definitely busier (i.e. watch for ferry). Sea state is ~6ft. Boat slammed into the wave when heading up to the wind. Once we can sail, we raised the head sail and head to the Indians. Indians was very busy and we can’t found a ball. We end up snorkelled at the Cave instead. We then headed to the Bight trying to visit Willy’s T. No luck with mooring ball. One the way to Peter Island, Denise was asking me to sail by the Indians again. This time there was only one boat hooked up to the ball. We quickly grabbed one and let the kids snorkelled there for 15min. They said it is nice!! We booked a ball at Peter Island Marina. The mooring field is actually in Deadman Bay. The boat definitely swung a lot. The mooring field barely shield us from the wave. Moreover, we all got bitten up alive by mosquito here!!! Note to self: we run out of dinghy gas and can’t head to dinner on shore. Get 2-stroke oil before head out next time. Can’t find in Scrub and Peter.
