1st day of sailing in Denmark

Leaving immediately as we don’t plan on visiting the cliffs, despite Møn being famous for the area. <Departure & Re-entry> Keeping the bow line steady and paying close attention to the boat's rotation, we departed using the engine's reverse power. It was a fluid exit. Realizing we hadn't paid the fees, we headed back from the middle of the sea. Upon re-entering, we nudged the bow in as far as possible. The crew secured both lines to the shore, then eased them back to tie the stern lines before pulling the boat forward again. <Sailing> Unfurled the sails and maintained a very slow pace on a broad reach. The crew practiced knots during the transit. Doo hosted the first Instagram Live. It was a peaceful sail. We practiced the standard method of using a preventer to avoid accidental gybing, though the winds weren't strong enough to require it. <Motoring> Entered the Danish inland waters, passing through a hazardous area with uneven seabeds and numerous shipwrecks. We navigated safely by following the buoys, maintaining an average speed of about 5 knots. <Docking> As we entered the harbor, the current surged. The crew jumped off at the bow without securing the stern line first, causing the stern to swing out completely. We mastered the use of the spring line for the first time. *Plan: Wrap the stern line first to hand it to the skipper as we've done before, then have the crew take the bow line forward, choosing the port or starboard side based on wind direction. Moving further inside the marina might have offered a safer spot shielded from the current by other boats. However, searching for a "safer" spot risks hitting shallow waters, which is more dangerous. It is essential to scout the depth and available berths before entering the harbor. While the town of Stubbekøbing is beautiful, the harbor water was unpleasantly dirty. 4월17일 항해일지 Møn 절벽으로 유명한 곳인데 절벽을 안 다녀올 거라서 바로 떠남. <출항, 재입항> 배 회전에 주의하며 앞 쪽 라인 유지하고 엔진의 후진 파위로 출항. 유려하게 나갔음. 돈을 안 내고 나가서 바다 한 가운데로 갔다가 다시 돌아옴. 다시 돌아와서 입항할 때는 선두로 최대한 진입하여 크루가 양쪽 줄을 육지에 고정한 후, 뒤쪽으로 줄을 다시 풀어서 스턴 줄 묶고 다시 앞으로 당김. <세일링> 세일 펴고 브로드 리치로 굉장히 천천히 운항. 크루는 이동 중 매듭 연습. 두님은 첫 인스타 라이브. 굉장히 평화로운 항해. 엑시던탈 자이빙을 방지하는 프리벤터 정석으로 사용하는 법 소개. 그 정도 바람은 아니었음. <모터링> 난파선이 다수 있는 땅이 울퉁불퉁한 위험한 지역을 지나 덴마크 내륙으로 들어옴. 부이 따라 안전하게 항해. 평균 속도 5노트 정도였던 듯. <입항> 항구 들어와서 물살이 세지더니 크루가 스턴 줄 묶지 않고 선두로 내리자 선미가 완전히 꺾여버리는 일 발생. 첫 스프링 라인을 사용법 터득. *원래 하던데로 스턴 줄 먼저 감아서 스키퍼에게 전달하고, 크루가 선두 줄 잡고 앞으로 내리되 바람 방향에 따라 좌우는 결정하기로. 마리나 안쪽으로 조금 더 들어왔으면 다른 배들이 물살을 가려서 조금 더 안전한 자리가 있었겠다고 생각. 하지만 더 안전한 곳 찾다가 얕은 곳을 만나면 더 위험함. 항구 들어오기 전에 수심과 자리를 미리 파악하는 일이 필요함. Stubbekøbing 마을은 정말 예쁜데 항구 물이 너무 더러워서 불쾌했음.
