10-15kn with an incoming tide and a lovely 75F and sunny made for a very lovely sail. We reefed mid way out the channel and felt more balanced after that. No heave to or swim, just a quick out and back with L on the helm the whole way. J was very helpful on the headsail.

Forecast 12kn or so, we got 16 or so with gusts. We started on full sail plan but decided to reef prior to first race while two of six boats bowed out. Took about five minutes and we ended up way off the starting line so first race was a wash. Second race we had the best start and had quite the lead but we ended up missing the first mark with the same impatience all three races! Finished 5-4-4 of five boats. No swim, plenty of wind to get home.

E volunteered to help thankfully. After earlier experience reaching dock, I really didn't want to mess with a westerly, but a westerly is what we got. Started weak and quickly picked up to 10kn and by the time we stepped off the boat we were getting hit by a gale. Tender operator A safely returned us to land just as the rain began, we were very fortunate to not be sailing when that hit.

had a nice 8kn southerly out of the mooring field , shifted westerly through channel and we hove to out front if Manhattan Beach. Lost one side of our traveler, found a replacement ring and swam for 5-10 minutes before heading back. Planned to return to dock to swap crew, so dropped main before entering mooring field. Ended up with gusty westerly and learned the hard way about lee helm. Took us 30 minutes on headsail alone to reach the dock and involved one baby bump with another boat. Dock landing with L was superb though, flawless.

Started blowing 15-20 kn with four boats on the line, finished with no wind and three on the line. Finished 2-3-3, almost shook out a reef without consequence during an upwind leg of a race. Had a crew of four for the first time this season. Flew #2 and reefed main first two races. E helmed last race, M and I did great.

Wind slowed a bit and wasn't steady. E was half asleep while A and J started some funny talking game. Beautiful sunset. Had to remove and clean porta potty :(

Blessing if the fleets earlier in the day, RPYC hosted an excellent party. L helmed outside of SB, A managed kids. Way too many snacks. Moderate to gentle wind but steady and got us there no problem. Took many calls to get ahold of launch service, but they were incredibly helpful and put us on a ball with lines.

6-10kn and sunny, started from Rockaway 15 rather than the usual sheepshead bay 3. Got three races in, finished 6-6-4 of six and impeded at the mark on first race. Had some solid legs, but three terrible starts :( M and I crewing again doing a great job. Celeste gave us a tow back, channel was placid and paddles weren't going very fast against current.

Flew a #2, had I and M crew again and we sailed quite well. getting out of the channel and through upwind of first race made #2 competitive, but all downwinds and all of races 2&3 needed a #1. 15 kn to start, settled to 10-12kn. Finished 3-3-3 by our measure, but committee had us as 4-3-4 I believe. great first race, second place was within a half boat length for all three of us.

Almost didn't make it to the starting line wind was so hard to come by. Approaching storm brought wind around 6 and we never got any rain somehow. Ran to races, both with terrible starts. Second to last on the first, last on second after incurring a protest and lodging one. High winds and a couple poor skipper decisions. M and I were good crew and I helmed us back and landed with no wind
