Weighed anchor after visiting the castle by foot and hauled to Procida where E would catch ferry and we'd prepare Affio for check-in. Great 15+kn close reach, beam, and broad reach.

Gentle winds meant morning motor on calm seas. Dropped anchor north of castle but didn't find a good set so restarted for a good hold. Dinghied in for touring the castle.

low wind start of the day meant motoring on calm seas. E prepped the throwable for actual use and we stopped for a swim midway. Got a couple hours of sailing in before anchoring in Sant Angelo for the night. Dinghied into town for sunset views and takeout dinner for the boat.

15+kn westerly again. We practiced maneuvering in motor, failed to find a suitable Anchorage and then sailed around the island before practicing dinghy piloting at sunset.

Similar strong westerly winds meant slow progress close hauled. A little more than half way and our partner boat had already turned back due to projected arrival after sunset and we followed suit.

Late start, first day of sailing after check out the night prior. Lost the main halyard despite checking it twice recently, had to anchor in Ischia and go up in bosun's chair. Majority of time and miles close hauled with 15-20 kn and 2+m waves, got in to Porto Romano with help from P and E at 10:30p.

Lovely 12-14 kn blowing from the South with some clouds. Finished 4-3-4 of five boats. M and L were great crew and company though we did get squished on a downwind and bump beams with Prax. We dropped and picked up buoy, crew got a heave to swim. Splendid sunset. Finished fourth overall for the season, about six points behind ER

Blowing about 15 kn from the south with gusts of 25. Pretty calm in the mooring field, barely able to maintain steerage, but very lively in J bay. L minded E but was able to hold helm while I put reefs in. J continues to be helpful and interested, released and took up jib sheets, helpful ferrying to and from cabin. With two reefs and jib partially curled, we were very comfortable on beams and close reaches. Overcast on our way back in but rain mostly held off until evening after all. We went to the beach after our sail.

Beautiful day without threats of storm. L and M crewed and we hauled the buoy to create a starting line, though our first drop was too short. 3rd and 3rd out of six behind Celeste and Prax. 10-15kn wind. Got a heave-to swim in as did the crew.

Gentle to moderate winds mostly out of the west. J did a fantastic job helming, E loved the bow more than J. I helped B reinstall the Genoa prior to sail. We motored from mooring to dock to board the family and then motored out of the channel. Returned to the dock with some acrobatics (take the bow line in your hand!) before returning to mooring and putting to bed.
