overcast day with westerly winds from 12-18kts catching the winds nicely around the Pangna Bay island with near to no swell sailed without too much trim around 7-8kts

Leaving Pangna Bay is always easy, once passed Ko Yao Yai the sea opens to the easterly winds. Past Ko Pi Pi is a comfortable sail. Be careful as squalls are passing and strong winds are in the high 40knts. Also south of Koh Lanta the winds are unpredictable in force and come up in a blink of an eye to 25 knts.
