No sailing day, just moved boat to better part of the bay in preparation for the wind later in the day

Windy day, and started with a view of sailing. I was in the anchor and mark on the helm. The head wind meant we had to power forward the ease the windless, the once the anchor was raised swung around and pulled out the jib to sail out of the bay. We shortly after deployed the main reefing for the conditions. There was a good breeze and hard work on the helm and our average speed about 7knts sometimes reaching 8knts with a maximum of 8.5knts. The sea was pretty big with waves breaking the front of the boat and Mark wanted to get over the French line to claim we’ve been to France which we did. Arthur and Charlotte felt sick and Charlotte was sick, there was concern about her failing overboard so was promptly fitted with a life jacket and a leash line. Circling the maddalana islands we arrived back in much calmer waters to the south where we stopped to refuel. Refuelling Mark helmed and we pulled along side the dock and departed without issue. The plan was to go to Carla Portesa and upon arrival chose a spot which was incorrectly detailed as rocks and dropped anchor onto these only to find we were surrounded by shallow rocks. So Laura and I went in the water with masks and snorkels and moved the anchor so it could be safely winched up. The operation was successful and we were able to depart without issue. All on board we tried to fine a suitable anchorage nearby but canned the and headed for golf purvo. Dropping anchor on sandy bottom near the parameter of the sea grass reservoir.

Departed Porto galvetti and headed west bound stopped at small bay for lunchtime swim then sailed north towards the piscine and then to a bay for bbq. Quite windy in the evening

We left around 9am heading south the east to Port Galvetti, it was a reasonable breeze heading through the straights between the islands and sailing until we reached the port entrance. Laura radioed the port and a dingy met us outside and asked us to follow. I drove into the port then reversed into the dock, could have done with a longer stern rub to pick up speed. Docking was relatively easy with our birth on the right hand side of the port.

Easy sailing from porta liccia to Carla Brigatina so I took the opportunity to cook dinner for the evening and to make lunch for everybody. Perfect stern mooring Laura and Theo took the dingy and secured the line and we reversed onto meet and pick up. Slightly hampered by a catamaran trying to squeeze past us to secure their spot. All was perfect and all other boats left by the evening leaving just us. At dinner we were plagued by wasps, which somewhat spoilt a perfect location. In the morning we all swam before leaving for port galvetti

Ready and departed early with a view of heading for Carla Portesa but realised it would take too long so changed plan and headed to Carla Liccia. There was a large swell so quite a few of us felt sick. Then mark and I set another anchor and pulled the stern into wind. This stabilised the boat.

Stopped at a bay called Villa View. Stunning villa overlooking a bay with crystal clear waters. Sandy bottom with good anchor hold. Lots of snorkelling before setting off to Alimos. Wind slowly increased as we approached Alimos and a reasonable sail. There was a queue at the entrance to the marina but relatively easy to enter as queuing into wind. Entry into the birth was quite straightforward.

Departed from our shore line anchorage then under motor for this leg due to lack of wind. Dropped anchor in Villa View bay.

Nice sail from Dokos to Piros. Had to complete a few tacks but for the majority under sail and not needed to motor.
