Final day of summer cruise. Good run back to Pwllheli. Had a fantastic several weeks away. Wales, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Isle of Man and back to Wales.

Mainly motor sailing. Very light winds and mist very reduced visibility until part way across Loch Ryan. Arrived in Portpatrick to very warm, hot Sunshine.

Nice sail. Starts with 20+knots on the nose. Moves off beam, reduces down to 8. Lot of motoring today against some tide.

Troon to Girvan, United Kingdom
Left Tarbert after the weekend seafood festival. Beam reach all the way. Started with 25kts+ wind. 10-14 by time we arrived Troon. Saw the Waverley and a classic yacht.

Tarbert to Troon, United Kingdom
Back to Tarbert for seafood festival. Fuel fill at Largs 32 Litres. Smooth sail over. Nice breeze. Started with first reef. Removed reef. Wind dropped to nothing on final approach to Tarbert.

Fairlie to Tarbert, United Kingdom
Started light winds and dry. Built up over time. First reef and reefed Genoa. Ends with following 27kts nice waves and heavy rain. Arrived damp. Sorted with a beach sauna at Largs.

Tarbert to Fairlie, United Kingdom
Long day through canal and motor down to Tarbert. Rain, drizzle. Bit of blue in the distance and a promise of sun that never came. Venison stew for tea that was prepared last night.

Crinan to Tarbert, United Kingdom
Short Hop Ardfern to Crinan basin. Waited couple of days for wind to drop. Couldn’t make Ghiga wind would make staying there uncomfortable.
