Sid - Looking at the sail log I see my biggest error. No... not choosing the crew. You guys did great, though the tacks could use a bit of tweaking and speed. But if you look at our trip back from the leeward mark, it veered way to the west. I may gave no Bert as high to the wind a I woiks have liked, but we were out on the tide, and it would have kept pushing us south when we wanted to go NW., so it would have pushed us farther west. I think probable more that I was sailing off the wind a bit, because it looked like we were past the committee boat (also explains why, Carl, you mentioned that we were goub fast. Yeah, fast in the wrong direction. So that is why the red boat got ahead of us. Anyway. I hope you guys had a great time. You did good. Just Ned to get a bit qiuicker reacting to get the sails adjusted on a tack.
