After many years sailing and racing dinghies I graduated to yachts with trips in UK, Greek Islands and Canaries. Participated in the Clipper Round the World 2023-24 yacht race and completed Legs 1 (UK to Uruguay & Leg 8 USA to UK via Oban. Happy to crew on any yacht and normally available most of the year.

Good start on starboard before spinnaker hoist on starboard pole. Round the Needles in record time before the top curling mechanism broke and the jib fell down. continued under engine and main but had to retire from race at about 1.25pm. Motorsailed back to Haslar Marina.
