Only a short hop from Woodbridge to Ramsholt Arms where picked up a buoy. Wind on the nose so no sail up. Left Tide Mill at 13.30, with over 2m over the sill.

SE veering SW variable 2 to 4. Slight & good vis, occ poor. Arrived at Woodbridge Tide mill at 12.30 with tide height reading 2m over the sill.

HW @19.00 at Titchmarsh was 3.4m. Left Shotley lock at 13.30 as concerned with depths in Twizzle. 2 reefs. Tacking up Pye channel hard work but went well. Not much room either side so furled sails & motored in. Hard to see the Twizzle channel through the buoys. Berthed in A12, going past the berth & reversing in. Wind blowing us into our finger pontoon. Pete Morley there to catch our lines 😊

Variable conditions. Put 2 reefs in. Min 3.3kts. Max wind gust 43kts (force 9), with sails down. Wind N becoming NW 3-9 mostly 5 Wintry showers of hail and sleet. Cold. Visibility good mostly, but 0.5 NM during hail and sleet. Put out fenders very early, from bow to stern, to minimise crew risk, as we could see the squall approaching. After squall passed through, benign conditions meant we entered lock and moored stern-to in 3.3kt winds.

NW 3-5 kts Sun & wintry showers Visibility good. Anchored for lunch, just after LW.

NW 3 - 5, becoming SW variable 4 - 5. Wintry showers. Good visibility. Picked up buoy near Pin Mill.
