Mimico Beach, Canada
North wind made it feel very cold today. Started by going to Gananoque to use the pump out dock. Excellent docking by Joe. Then sailed past Beauvirage Island and down the Bateau Channel. Lovely sail down this narrow channel with front sail up. Went to Cassidy Bay to find anchorage from north wind but did not feel sheltered and a lot of cottages on one side. Decided to continue on to Collins Bay. Fast sail across Kingston back to Collins Bay to fill up and dock. A long day.

Endymion Island to Balmoral Park, Canada
Light winds. Left Thwartway and sailed past Camelot and Endymion to check out the moorings. Continued sailing up and down the back through the 1000 Islands. Sailed back. No moorings left on Camelot. Took a mooring on Endymion. 7 moorings in a large anchorage. The mooring behind us had no swing room but no one was on it. Ports Guide says depth of 10-20 feet but our readings were 1-2 feet below our keel, possibly due to grass/weeds. Went ashore to pay ($21.50). Most of the island is closed to protect rare fauna. Another hot day - lots of swimming and Joe kayaked around the island. Winds changing from SW in the day to W overnight and N in the morning. Storm was predicted overnight but no rain came. Windier overnight.

Grindstone, United States to Endymion Island, Canada
No wind - motored. Picked up Parks Canada mooring ball on Thwartway (Leek) Island. 5 mooring balls - the 2 closest to island looked too shallow. Had one very close to land but deep and enough swing room off the rocks. Dinghy to shore to pay fee ($21.50). Short walk on island - there is a path to an outhouse and a beach used by powerboats. There are also remains of a convalescent hospital for WWI soldiers. Very hot day. Swimming and Joe paddled around in the early evening.

Rattray Point, Canada to Grindstone, United States
Light winds from SW, sunny. Anchored in Brakey Bay - good protection from SW. Large anchorage, about 7 boats that night. Swam in the evening and morning. Saw cows on the shore. Monster amount of weed and mud on anchor.
