Great upwind sail today. Another lovely sunny day with moderate winds gusting 18 knots. Moored bows to rocks at Âlofladen. Stayed up late as it was a beautiful, clear night with no artificial light in the bay to spoil the lovely starry sky! It was the height of the Perseids meteor shower this week so saw quite a few shooting stars before the mosquitos drove us to take refuge down below.

Started off with a gentle downwind sail, the wind dropped to <5 knots so we motored to the end of the channel where we were hit by 16 - 22 knots gusty wind requiring an upwind sail.

Beautiful hot and windy day. Lots of attractive properties on the steep sides of the channels, some of which were shallow and narrow. Quite busy with boats today so it got a bit tight in those narrow bits.
