Started with some wind, but it died and we actually abandoned the race before the end. But it was beautiful and nice to be out on the water.

South Parkdale to Humber Bay, Canada
A great night, nice constant winds. Very low wave state. And I didn’t hit any marks this race! A bit of a sad ending, with our engine giving out just before we got into our mooring, requiring a tow. So something new to figure out.

South Parkdale, Canada
Pretty good wind for the whole race. I touched mark 4, so had to do a penalty 360… bummer.

Humber Bay to South Parkdale, Canada
Very light wind today, slow race. But we did ok, even with some thoughts of taking the DNF tempting us.

Race winds were light, but enough to keep moving. We had a decent start, staying out of the pileup at the pin, and all the dead air with it. The up wind mark was also fun, making Pierre “give way” to us, since we made it there first. And we probably beat Clamymore on adjusted time. Amazing.

Started with very light winds, we were just flipping around. Motored out to mark 5, and picked up some wind. A bit more flopping around, then headed off east, all the way to the east gap. Saw a half dozen trimarans! Amazing. We also got pulled up on by our boats former-former owners! They were in a beautiful Hanse. Oh, while flipping around at the start, we hove-to, and I jumped in for a quick dip. Refreshing! A single tack all the way back, with Ciara piloting. Wonderful sailing day.
