Practiced powering and de-powering on an upwind downwind course. Follow the leader in a group of six Lasers. Good weather with a few gusts.

Second day sailing a Laser. Quickly rigged and then did an upwind downwind course while practicing coming to a dead stop within three boat lengths of buoys on the course.

First time sailing a Laser. Spent the morning rigging and the afternoon sailing a simple upwind downwind course. Very gusty. Capsized in the middle of the reservoir and corrected it without falling overboard. Capsized again while docking. Turtled in the mud. Took two of us to right the boat. Heavy gusts required us to unrig the boat before taking it out of the water.

Windy conditions, up to 13 knots, capsized and got rescued 🤣, went out again with rad sail
