Left first island in Greece we continue our journey. Stop the tourist spot canal d’amour. Full of fancy restaurants and hotel. Took a photo and left. Afternoon we sailing with gennaker. This is first time sailing with it for couple of hours. The wind about 8-10kn speed is about 5kt. At least we use it. Tonight we anchored in Kassiopi. The bay is not busy only one restaurant opens and water is not clean at all. Full of garbage. After dinner we take a walk in the town. That’s surprising me. Just next to the bay the world changed. The town full of restaurants and souvenir store of course many many tourists. Never imagine that I thought it’s just a small village of fishermen. There’s a guy sells toast maize it’s €3.5/p lol So far I am a bit disappointed. Greece is too touristy and expensive a bit. I hope we can find some village or city not just for the tourists.

Othonoí to Kassiopi, Greece
Finally we arrived in Greece! First island calls Othonoi. A small village open to the foreigners tourists in summer. We stay here two nights for relaxing after the long gurney. Tested the local beer and wine. Not very good though lol

The distance of the shoe heel Italy is such long. We have a bit fair wind but not much about 10-12kn still with motor and we got 5-6kt speed. All way long there’s another sailing boat after us. He’s faster a bit than us. When we almost arrived Santa Maria di Leuca they almost catched us but failed lol the wind angle about 40 degrees so when we put down the mainsail Eric just changed a bit direction of it the sail went down. But the guy after us he changed the boat to face the wind and get the sail down. lol really don’t need it. This is our last anchor spot in Italy, tomorrow we’re going to arrive in Greece! I hope the paradise will wait us.

Crotone to Leuca, Italy
After one week navigating 12-14hours per day. Today we just have half day trip. We moored in Croton. This is first I think the last spot is calm for anchor. I hope tonight I can sleep well. No nosy from the mast. Today is Sunday. It’s very crowded on the street. We had beers in a bar at the port, it’s cheap lol 4 beers only cost €6. 你听着岸上传来的音乐 你却孤独的漂在海上

Africo Nuovo to Santa Domenica, Italy
Navigation in Sicily and Italy is really really not interesting at all. The sea is not beautiful and can’t find any mooring place calming. I hope Greece is not like this.
