Wonderful evening last night at Britain’s remotest pub and a damp walk this morning before setting off back to Mallaig and the sun has come out just in time for Charlotte and Andrew’s departure 🙃 Despite the weather been a great week with fab crew!!

A wet day! Motored back down the Kyles and have made it to Inverie and now booked in for supper tonight at The Old Forge - the remotest pub in Britain!

Two big things today…. We made it to the Isle of Skye and we passed 1000 nautical miles since leaving Portsmouth Rain forecast but didn’t arrive! Enjoyed a lovely gentle cruising chute over to Portree. Then treated to a fabulous meal out!

Jo Emmanuel - Skye and 1000 nautical miles. Whilst the master doesn’t actually mean very much to me I am proud of you 💪❤️💪

So lucky with the weather… beautiful beat up the loch to the top the a brief run back with the cruising chute. Up the Kyle Rhea by motor then another lovely sail to Plockton. Drink at the pub and sunshine all the way!

Had a few days in Mallaig sitting out wind and rain restocking the boat and taking train to Fort William via the Harry Potter viaduct. Then the Hatrick’s arrived! Glorious sail in sunshine to Loch Hourn which we had all to ourselves… saw deer, seals, dolphins and … our first sea otter! And a swim for the girls. A pretty perfect day.
