Started windsurfing in the UK then had a 420 dinghy and raced on lakes near home. Started yacht sailing in the Solent both cruising and racing. Sailed Bermuda to Annapolis. Moved to New Zealand and have had motor boats, a dinghy and yachts. Have been cruising and racing in the Hauraki Gulf ever since. Now we own a Bavaria 39C.

Tried to anchor off Shakespear Park for lunch but could not catch the sand. So left and went for a sail with lunch on the move!
