Nice quiet morning in lovely anchorage then easy motor down through the Burnt Islands to anchor for lunch. On to mooring which the girls paddle boarded to. Gorgeous walk on Bute followed by early celebratory birthday dinner for Jemma before the girls head home tomorrow 🙃

Woke to more sunshine and a bit more wind. Made our way over to the Isle of Bute and a lovely sail up the West Kyle with Jemma on the helm. More dolphins and seals. Anchored in a beautiful bay , blissfully quiet, lots of jelly fish so maybe no swimming but did get the paddle boards out for the first time!

Glorious sunshine continues! Lovely beat in a F4 across to north coast of Arran. Spotted black guillemots and dolphins! Anchored off the pub and off for a hike then a pub supper - it’s a tough life.

Picked up Jemma and immediately headed off in beautiful sunshine and flat calm to Millport. Swim (well for three of us!) then quick beer ashore before a lovely calm evening at anchor. Couldn’t be more lucky with the weather.

Beautiful morning anchorage in the sunshine. Brief sail before winds died and we headed off to Largs Marina to have a short stay to walk to the station to pick up Jemma!

Have had a few days relaxing now we are finally in Scotland. Restock walks etc and then picked up our first new crew member, Amy who brought the sunshine with her! Lovely beat over the Clyde to Lamlash bay in Arran , walk ashore and first Scottish swim!

Lovely sail downwind in nice flat waters without as many strong tides to cope with! Cloudy but lovely views of the coast, passing Turnberry golf course and seeing lots of sea birds. Made it to Troon Marina and looking forward to a few rest days while we await the arrival of Amy!
