Not much wind today. Just enjoying my last day on the water.

Light winds 8 to 10 knots. Solo sailing for the first time and worked up the guts to pull out Mr Big Guy (Code 0). Had a couple of nice gusts 💨 manage to get up to 7 knots. Picked up my first mooring ball ever and solo on top of that. Awesome day all around.

Motor sailing all day. Very light wind. Sailed along the bad weather without getting a drop of rain. Very bouncy night in the anchorage.

Calm morning for smooth motoring from Koh Khram to Ocean Marina via the very busy Monkey Island.

Little wind mostly from the bow. Motor sailing all day again. Got a nice gust of 15 knots but only lasted about 5 minutes. Made things interesting. Early morning workout hooking on to a fish. Good fight for a long 20 minutes but got loose 20 feet from the boat. Later hooked on to a sea monster. Pulled half my line out, tried to tighten it but it ripped my line right out at the reel 🤯 Moby Dick maybe?!? Made it to port after dark. Thanks to the Island Spirit crew that waited for us and helped us dock.

First 50NM under motor, very calm. Then we had some wind so we sailed, slowly. Light wind on the nose for much of the passage. Motor sailed for large stretches but sail added little and current un helpful.

Started passage with no wind. Wind kicked in at 17 knots so ultimately had a good sail.

Gusty to 25kts. Current against and choppy getting out of bay. Windy at Ao Chaweng but without chop
