MCC Ladies Race

SW F3 in Gillingham Reach, F4 further downstream. Bright, sunny day with excellent visibility. MCC Ladies Race, sailed course 30, helming shared between Jo and Alison. The fleet were well matched and close on the first downwind leg, with Gothik bringing up the rear. Once heading upwind, after buoy 16, Gothik got into her groove and we overtook everyone but Freya. On the second upwind leg we overtook Freya too and kept the lead until the end. Gothik was first over the line on the water and first on handicap.
