A varied sail! Up to Dartmouth was against wind and tide and slow progress. Passing Dartmouth the wind direction and strength improved briefly... until dying away to 2.5kts and I finally conceded to start the engine. However half an hour later the wind had backed and strengthened, and I was making over 7kts SOG Goose winged with a following sea past Start point 😃. A beautiful afternoon and early evening sail, and by the time I reached the mouth of the Yealm I had steady F5. Much calmer in Noss Mayo, beautiful as always. Falmouth tomorrow, looking like very light winds...
