Auckland to Tauranga

We left Auckland after filling up diesel. The plan was to sail to Waiheke Island to spend the night before we headed south. A quick look at the weather and we changed our minds and headed towards the East Cape. Weather didn’t quite develop according to predictions so after a sleepless night we decided to sail down to Tauranga before going around the Cape. Now we are anchored in a mooring field with all boats on moorings but us! We hope to leave in the night!
