vessel: "Slippery" a Melges 24, owned by Alex. Skipper: Alex Crew: John Poulson, DC, Hailey, Cass D Wind picked up to about 15knots at the end of the afternoon. from North/ North-West. We did 3 races, we ended at the middle of the pack in all 3, finishing 4th in a pack of 7 to 8 M24s. I operated the spinnaker today. We had excellent starts, and some really good tacks today, struggled a bit and lost speed with some jibes and at pin turns. We did about 6.5 knots upwind and about 13 knots downwind.
