Vulcano Porto to Filicudi Porto, Italy

Palmarola
Dufour 390 Grand Large
Sooooooo last night was pretty rolly but we woke up to a much calmer bay π₯°. After watching sunrise we had a Cappuccino ashore for breakfast, a stroll around the sulphuric rocks and a look at the black beach. BBQ as Salina in a very beautiful but quite rolly bay, after which we decided to take a look at Fillicudi. Yesterday 10 minutes into our trip we saw 4 dolphins. Today I saw a puff of mist on the horizon and seconds later a beautiful big tail. We saw a sperm whale! Tonight a beautiful spot on Anchor β. Best set an β°!!

Beautifully sunny day! Tried getting the sail up but sadly not enough favourable wind in the morning so instead motored over to Salina for a bbq lunch π then just casually TG spots a whale!! Now a gorgeous bay anchored for aperol spritz and an evening swim - not in that order! π

No sailing unfortunately but we saw some amazing blue waters and even a whale! In the distance so no photographic evidence but we clearly saw the tail going down and various sprays. Bloody beautiful! Turns out Filicudi doesnβt have buoys, or not anymore anyway but we were ok to anchor on sand bank. Apparently you are fine with no rocks from 12m and up!
