Spétses to Koilás, Greece
After a swim and examination of Gavin’s capstan set up - has same problems we had, we all went ashore for coffee and good byes before we lifted anchor and took the southern wind to head north to Koilada. Nice shallow well protected anchorage off the small port town, had a nice long swim before enduring a little rain - second time this season! 9 July. Just after sun up we went exploring the local caves where mankind had lived as far back as 40,000 years. We only went into the first cave as two others were too difficult to climb up to, but quite impressive, especially the incredible history dating back so far. Then we found the laundry and yacht chandlery at the SE top end of the bay, Linda did a couple of large loads of laundry before we went into town and had brunch at a cafe with nice music and cool fans, not to mention ok food. As common, the wind came up in the afternoon.
