If you want to take some time away from screens and the pressure of every day life, we're going on a sailing trip that combines serenity with adventure and conversation with silence. The objective of this one day trip out of Portsmouth Harbour is to quickly mould a group of individuals into an effective sailing crew, and create a safe space for sharing and talking about men's mental health. This is not therapy. People are welcome to share, but no one is required to disclose anything personal. The aim is a safe, active, human day at sea. We use Martin Seligman's PERMA model to discuss positive emotion, engagement, relationships, meaning and accomplishment. Partners and women are welcome.
Led by Tim Harkness, Chelsea FC's former Head of Psychology & Science, he uses Martin Seligman's PERMA model to help unlock well being and promote men to flourish.
