This year's BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival the waters off the British Virgin Islands will be filled again with competitors from across the globe coming to the warm waters. The sheer natural beauty of the islands, the pristine crystal waters and consistent trade winds makes this a very special place to race and is one of the Caribbean’s best annual race events. This week long festival will take you all around the beautiful British Virgin Islands and we will be taking part in both the two day Sailing Festival and the three days of the Regatta itself. Between the Festival and the Regatta will be a lay day to give you the opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings. This is a great experience that keeps bringing the same faces back each year, proving just how popular it is with the sailing community.
Part regatta, part holiday. This Caribbean classic is one of the most easy going regattas on the circuit.
Day 1 - Training and Preparations Arrival in Tortola and welcome on board. Meet your skipper and crew, followed by a safety brief and the regatta programme. You will spend the day getting to know your crew, preparing the boat for the regatta—including cleaning and organising—and training to bind the team into a race crew. 1200-1800H: Registration for BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival at Peg Legs Nanny Cay
Day 7 Departure Before departure, we kindly ask everyone to help with a general cleaning and tidying of the boat. If you plan to stay onboard the evening of the 29th, please be aware that we will be departing early in the morning on the 30th for the St Thomas International Regatta.
Our Mission is simple: Provide fun, safe and rewarding sailing opportunities at an affordable price. Not everyone can afford a racing yacht or has friends or family that can. This should not be a barrier to entry. We keep costs low by involving everyone in the process and showing them the reality of what it takes to sail and race offshore. Our goal is to get as many people as possible to participate and leave having had the experience of a lifetime. We believe in putting safety first and allowing everyone to experience offshore racing in a supportive environment. We’d like to finish top of the leader board but the individuals on board will always come first.

What to Expect Professional Instruction Our Skippers are experienced instructors that make every crew member feel welcome and tailor their delivery to the experience and style of the crew Competitive boat Although the taking part is often fun, we believe the full experience comes from pushing ourselves to the max and competing with other boats on the water with a view to win High safety standards Maintaining and equipping a yacht to a high standard is not an easy task. No expense is spared in ensuring the best equipment is selected and repairs are undertaken quickly and proficiently. No Passengers Although we are happy to provide sight seeing adventures, this experience is a regatta so you can expect to be actively involved in sailing the boat, there isn't any rail meat on our boats.
