Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Aegean Sea, the Aegean 600 Race is a world-class offshore sailing event. This demanding 600-nautical-mile race winds through some of the most iconic islands of the Aegean — including Mykonos, Santorini, and Rhodes — offering sailors a dynamic course filled with shifting winds, strong currents, and stunning views. First held in 2021, the Aegean 600 has quickly earned global recognition for its exceptional organization and scenic yet competitive route. The race is hosted and organized by the Hellenic Offshore Racing Club (HORC), in collaboration with the Region of Attica, and is held under the auspices of World Sailing and the Hellenic Sailing Federation. Starting and ending at Cape Sounion, near the ancient Temple of Poseidon, the Aegean 600 is more than just a race — it’s an odyssey through history, nature, and the spirit of competitive sailing.
People often associate summer sailing in Greece to be serene. Which is true, until you go on an epic 600NM race around the Cyclades. This race has it all. Stunning landscapes, competitive fleets and testing weather conditions. A must do.
Our Mission is simple: Provide fun, safe and rewarding sailing opportunities at an affordable price. Not everyone can afford a racing yacht or has friends or family that can. This should not be a barrier to entry. We keep costs low by involving everyone in the process and showing them the reality of what it takes to sail and race offshore. Our goal is to get as many people as possible to participate and leave having had the experience of a lifetime. We believe in putting safety first and allowing everyone to experience offshore racing in a supportive environment. We’d like to finish top of the leader board but the individuals on board will always come first.
They offer a range of small group and authentic sailing experiences, from Caribbean cruising to Ocean racing, at a budget to suit most.
