It was a very windy journey with 17-22kn E - ENE - unfortunately the wrong direction to make progress towards Itchenor. After lots of tacking with very little progress over 2 hours, we changed to motoring. Luckily the sun and blue sky appeared against the forecast. The waves made it a bumpy affair. First time on walk ashore pontoon (no water or electricity).

Nice easterly wind of 10-13 kn Tacking from lymington to Bembridge Sunny but quite cool in the wind, even with full winter clothing

We only moved back under engine, would have been a perfect sailing day but have no time Wind SE 14kn, sunshine, good visibility

Wind of 5kts only so motoring again. At arrival at Lymington it increased to nice 12kts but we were too cold. Beautiful sunny day!

7kts E, cloudy, cold, vis good Motored to Newtown, on buoy 1

Wind increased and increased, very gusty, we started with 10kn and ended with 24kn S. Sails on second reef. Good sailing!

Calm, NW 8-10kn, peaceful beautiful sail blue sky and sun rise!
