Fare, French Polynesia to Mokaoku, United States

Manta
Corsair F-27
Starboard Beam reach nearly the entire way. Tiller pilot failed completely approximately at around 1000 miles into the passage. Repaired and failed multiple times so this extended the passage by a few days I'd guess. The port side ama was also filling with water every couple of days with the waves smashing into it and damaging the trampoline mounts. Also a wave tore off the solar panel eventually. Small electrical fire when the 20a 48v mppt charge controller got fairly damp after all the squalls. Got really good at balancing the rig and holding a course with the tiller locked in position. Got sucked into the doldrums by the strong, mostly helpful currents and waited for nearly a week for Hurricane Kiko to pass safely to the north. It had stolen all the wind so it took a long time to get the winds filling back in. Some fish and sharks during the calms. Also a Minke whale visitor which then led to crashing the drone into the ocean yet again. Huahine to Hilo
